La Mer - LARGE

AS FEATURED ON VOGUE.COM ON JUNE 5, 2009 ("ECO-CENTRIC: GREEN TOTES AT THE GREEN MARKET"). "La Mer" means the sea, and this basket was so-named because it was woven out of water reed. It is trimmed in soft brown leather and features 9" thick leather handles. La Mer Large measures approximately 19" wide and 12" high. This basket is incredibly strong and durable, making it the perfect all-around basket. My neighbor, who is a builder, carries granite samples around in hers! The large is great for grocery shopping because the base is flat and can easily carry several gallons of milk and all your other stuff. It also makes a great beach or picnic basket.
