La Vie - LARGE

AS FEATURED IN THE MAY 2009 ISSUE OF COASTAL LIVING MAGAZINE. La Vie means "Life" in French. This is a beautiful traditional basket hand woven out of palm leaves and trimmed with soft brown leather, including thick leather handles. The lighting of this photo makes it look grayer than it really is - it's more of a straw color. The loop of the handles is 9" and can be carried in the hand or over the shoulder. La Vie Large measures approximately 24" wide and 12" high. It is close in height to the medium size, but has a wider base, so it feels quite a bit larger. La Vie Large is great for holding lots of beach towels, storing logs next to the fireplace, the market, or anytime you need to carry lots of stuff.
